What is the Provincial Entrepreneur Stream
The Provincial Entrepreneur Stream operates within the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), under which Canadian provinces independently select candidates for immigration based on their economic needs.
The PNP includes multiple streams for skilled professionals and priority sectors, as well as a dedicated pathway for business owners and senior managers.
The Entrepreneur Stream is designed for individuals who plan to establish a new business in Canada or acquire an existing one and take an active role in its management. The program is intended for:

managing partners
senior executives with owner-level decision-making authority
Key Eligibility Criteria
Requirements vary by province, but most Entrepreneur Streams are based on the following:
At least 3 years of experience in business ownership or senior management, such as owner, director, or top executive.
Business Experience
A minimum investment of CAD 100,000 into a business in Canada, allocated toward launching or developing the project.
Investment
Language
Basic proficiency in English or French at a minimum of CLB 4 (approximately IELTS 4.0–4.5).
